And another reason to seriously evaluate PP ownership.

I’ve never owned a Patek (yet still saving) but for some reason the long turn around time doesn’t particularly bother me. I mean I would want them to take the utmost care win servicing my watch. I could see though why it would bother others.

17 week. Congrats. I usually takes Patek 17 weeks just to wind up a watch.

I always enjoy collecting a Patek from the AD, even if it is only from servicing.

Have had service on several Lange pieces that were sent to Germany, repaired, laser case refinished in one case, and all were returned in less than 8 weeks. AP is well recognized for being able to turn most pieces around (from Florida) in less than four weeks. Patek appears to be better than it once was but still far too slow.

To be fair my watch was handed in the period of time that things opened* up and I may have indirectly benefited from lockdown with less watches going into the service pool. It’s a vintage watch handled in a reasonable time. I’m happy. *the situation in Switzerland may or may not have had some impact but I haven’t looked into that aspect. |

I sent in a Naut 3700 in Dec 2019 and got it back Feb 2021. I was fortunate to be able to drive down to my AD and pick it up; that has to be rough to know it's within reach but the store can't open. Congrats on being close to the finish line tho!

Is that correct? Over a year? Or is it a typo? |

Hi,
Would you mind telling us how much the service cost? I'm considering getting my 5035G serviced. Thanks. |

Base cost was £1,150. There was a further ~£400 for optional work which I accepted some, but not all, of.

Looks great. My 3445 took 17 months. In fairness, it wasn't running at all when it was sent.

Thanks. Going to have to dig out the light tent and get some proper images. It picks up every reflection.
Hope your 3445 was worth the wait. |
