But why? Besides social norms where one might live…..why?

16700, the last year they made it. The polished jubilee goes well with the rhodium on the Cartier.

Thanks. I wish I had a reason to wear cuff links more often. What are your thoughts on the bracelet?

Personally I like them. I liked them more a few years ago when wearing one was “the look”. Now you have to wear a few and have an En Clou or two as well? It just seems a little too show “off’y” to me. For me I can’t wear them. A hard bangle type gets way too beat up for my OCD to handle. I like the fact that they’re on there good but I don’t think I wear anything that takes that much effort to take off (screw secure type). I will think to myself “nice” when I see people wearing them but the “fakes” and the Homage’s have kind of ruined it.

I feel this way about many designer goods. Like LV handbags etc.

For those who rock the white gold love bracelets, do you mind posting some more photos? I decided to forgo the ring avenue because I couldn’t get a nice fit.

Thinking about just adding a white gold version to complement my new rose gold love bracelet.

You have such manly hand but boyish feet, a very striking combination. The love ring looks fantastic on your ring finger, is it the three-diamond version?

Love Bracelets

Late to the party but here are mine. Two for twenty years and we did the rings together for our wedding. Wiffer has the full 3 color set with diamonds. I normally wear one at a time but never take them off so these go diving and cycling a lot and get banged up quite a bit but I find a quick wipe down with a cape cod cloth every 5 months or so does wonders.

It’s funny because the bracelet is originally designed to be for both men and women to show a commitment to love. (That’s why they’re designed to be difficult to remove).

With that being said, I’m planning on picking up the standard one in rose gold end of year. It’s been on my list forever, but I always get side tracked with adding new watches lol.

Richard Hammond rocks one with a Rolex in most of his shows!
Every time I shop I am always wanting to buy cool bracelets, but always talk myself out of it thinking they are too feminine. I'm just curious on etiquette and others' perception of a man wearing accessories like that. I don't typically wear any jewelry, just a watch, so it is just something a little different.

Men don't wear bracelets. Well, shouldn't, anyways.

I wear a RG love bracelet and RG juste un clou bracelets that I don’t take off. They go with my RG Yacht. Sometimes wear a love ring.

My husband has a TT Santos that he wears from time to time but would not be seen wearing a Cartier bracelet or any other bracelet. And that’s fine by me.

I don't have one but remember white gold Cartier love bracelets without diamonds in them do not have a rhodium coating. As such they look a ‘duller’ white gold than the ones with diamonds in them as they do have a rhodium coating.

I personally think the non diamond love bracelets work particularly well. I really like the look of them but I just couldn’t put up with having a bracelet on my wrist, which is a pity.

I am a man and I wear a RG love bracelet with 10 diamonds.

I don’t think it’s too feminine at all lol.

Goes great with my DD (on opposite wrists of course)

I agree and think it will look fabulous. I must admit, my opinion has changed throughout this thread. I am now firmly in the camp that it is great to wear the bracelet.

Interesting that Tony Soprano in your avatar is wearing a bracelet. Did for the whole series if I'm not mistaken.

Yea also you just have to ignore all the cultures that love yellow gold where men wear bracelets

Wow that answers that. My wife has a few love and just un clou (spelling?) bracelets. She has a smaller white gold version without diamonds and a large white gold version with diamonds. The white gold with diamonds is a much brighter white gold. The smaller non diamond version is duller and darker. I thought it was the size difference but now I realize it’s the diamond vs non diamond! Thanks for sharing. And yes I can confirm there is a substantial difference in color.

people on this forum always advocate "wear what you like" but it's actually more like "wear what you like as long as it's within the norms". you can see this in any discussion about diamonds on watches or bracelets or whatever else, apparently no one cares what you wear when it comes to deciding which steel rolex to buy but if it's a bracelet suddenly everyone will notice and care

for what it's worth i've never gotten a compliment on any watch of mine but get tons on the bracelet, and from random people too

If I was to ever wear a bracelet I would want to wear that one.
Details?
