Is this 18k Rolex over-polished??
Asking for a friend...Normally can tell how over-polished a piece is but with the polished lugs (something I’ve never owned) on the 118238, it’s a little hard to tell.

It looks polished. The lugs do look a bit thinned. Not necessarily a bad thing but should be noted.
I’d ask about the bracelet. Looks in sharper shape than the head. Could be a replacement Italian or from another DD. I wouldn’t say no outright to that DD. |

Bracelet looks better than the case. The crown looks a bit worn down too while the buckle crown looks great.

Polished, but looks fine. The black background/shadows are making it look worse than it is, IMO.
