I have been lurking around for a Blue TT Sub, I had the newest one on my wrist last week, but the $13k price tag is not going to happen and I am not trading my DSSD, so that means I will be looking for a preowned model.

What are the difference between the 16613 and the 16803? The jeweler where I bought my PAM 005 will have a 16803 in Jan, it is being serviced now, I told him a price of $5000 and he mentioned the 16803.

I love the blue that is on my wrist below, how does the blue in the 16803 compare to that blue?

The 16803 was a transitional model of sorts and wasn't around very long. I think 1985 late to around what? 1987 or so. Maybe a bit later. It was replaced by the 16613. The 16803 has a sapphire crystal, 3035 movement, and 300m WR. So 100m more than the 1680 and sapphire to boot.

Personally I'd have the 16803 myself

Yea, it is a nice piece, felt great on me, I am not sure I want to trade my DSSD and $4k cash.

The 16613 is one of the most beautiful Rolexes ever made, IMHO. Go for a nice clean one with SELs, no holes case and gold through the clasp.

Thanks, I have been lurking around, in no hurry, I do like the gol thru the clasp option, I wish I could try both versions on to see which felt better.
