did Rolex ever make a stainless sub with blue bezel and blue dial?

I have been searching and could not find an answer. I know they make it in white gold but I don't want to spend that much. I asked a different way before and the mod moved the post somewhere but I can't locate it. Thanks in advance

Rolex has never made a blue dial and blue bezel in stainless. I believe at one point they made a black dial with blue aluminum bezel insert though.

You won't be able to find a blue/blue without going white gold unless you mod the dial and the bezel. At that point Rolex may not service it.

If you customize your sub SS you can.
I've seen it here in TRF with a trusted seller.
I think it was Oscar. Not sure

There are indeed blue SS Submariners out there (up for debate, I suppose). Rare as hen's teeth...

A pawn broker here in Dallas swore he saw one at an AD in the Caribbean; I tried to tell him I don't think he is right, but he was adamant and I wasn't going to argue with him in his store.

You could fit an aftermarket bezel, although from what I have seen you will likely damage your genuine one in the process. That and they are a bit ordinary in terms of quality.
As for dial, good luck!!

Possibly true. Although it is hard to completely verify that

we'll see more of these pop up as they become more popular. if rolex is clever, they'll release their own factory version at the same price as the black.

As mentioned above, just swap in a 116619 dial/insert into a 116610 and presto whammo you have a stunner! These modded pieces and parts pop up from time to time. :-)

I remember seeing one in a japanese magazine. SS blue sub. Thought it was custom made by Rolex but only a few were produced.

Doesn't Ku own a blue prototype dial? Of course that doesn't really count.

I always thought a Sub with blue bezel and dial on SS would be outstanding and doubly so with the new sunburst dial. It would be a better price point than white gold and look very much the same. Or a very subtle TT blue, SS and white gold.
