Rolex 14270 dials
Hi mates, I'm looking today for information about the 14270.
There are dials with "T SWISS - T < 25", "SWISS MADE" and "SWISS". Do you information about if one is one a service dial and the years productions and serial number range? Many thanks for considering my request fellows. |

I mean I'd say "T SWISS - T < 25" are the first dials but what the diffence between the two others ? Which one is the "normal" luminova, what's the other one?

The swiss-only dial is luminova and the "swiss made" is superluminova. I've always heard the two luminous materials were virtually the same functionally and it was just a name change.
The switch from tritium to luminova happened around 1998 and the switch to superluminova happened in 2000. Those dates aren't set in stone but will get you pretty close. |

If I'm right the tritium "T SWISS - T < 25" 14270 production is from 1990 to 1997/98.
I'd like to know which oyster reference was sold during this time with the 14270? Many thanks |

Rarest dial for the 14270 would surely be the "Blackout," with silver printing and black interior to the three applied arabic numerals?
