I like the new case and also the old design, but by far the most important thing is the Cloisonné dial. There are HUGE variations and I much prefer some to others - being created by hand and all individual has plus and minus points.

I just got notified that my 2nd 59801AR is going to be delivered very soon.

My first one was returned as you know.

I can’t believe I had to wait a year; I guess they don’t make too many of those.

It also looks like Patek produces them around November/December, as this was the same time I got it last year.

Hoping we’ll get it soon too. They tried really hard to get us one in 2019. But Vegas didn’t want to share ....f’ers lol.

Congrats brother. Wife will be jealous!

I requested two watches at the same time in 2018, got the first 6 months later, the second I am still waiting on.

If I count from when I received the first one, which makes me feel better, then I am at 7 months and counting for the second. Was told a minimum of 4 more months but up to 12, which almost made me walk out. Realistic is probably 6 months I think.

At the end of the day, my patience comes and goes as my perspective on owning another thing fluctuates.

Anyone else have the internal battle of minimalist simplicity vs desire to experience the next whatever??

I have been waiting for the 5726 since Baselworld 2019. This will be a long battle.

i like the case and fonts on the 5231J better. but RG > YG and the Patek Philippe text on the dial of the 5231J is a massive let-down.

I have been on the 5711 list for 3 years now but was told one more year. I did get my first Patek 5168g in 9 months which is holding me nicely. Love that watch.

Funny, same for me. Still waiting after 30 months for a black dial SS Daytona from my Rolex AD. My 5167 and 5711 were much easier to get.
