Looking for a Nato for EXP II

Hey all was wondering if anyone can help me out. I recently put my 42mm polar explorer on a leather strap and really enjoy it.

This is going to be my dress down watch and will now most likely be off the bracelet for an extended period of time. I still have the SUBC on the bracelet.

I know that the polar explorer 2 has 21mm lug holes but haven't been able to find any company with the black and orange nato that I see so many people posting especially in the 21mm size. Was wondering if anyone with an Explorer 2 on a nato could chime in on where you picked them up and help me out a bit

I did read through a bunch of old nato threads and found a couple of companies but nothing that really sings to me, I'm really looking for the orange accent

any and all help is much appreciated and thanks again

Also the other question is would a 20mm strap work for the explorer 2? or would that be a dumb move?

Seems to be good quality and a nice selection. Removal toll included as well. You could also check the forums here for a seller, I'm sure they have them.

I ordered mine from Gnoman. Put my first one on last night while I send my bracelet to Michael Young for restoration. I started with a gray/black Bond and a gray one for my Submariner but just ordered 4 more, including the Tudor one shown above. Shipping from Singapore took about 2 weeks.

Really looking forward to these being broken in and having that frayed look.

Nothing wrong with NATOs but I prefer the look of a GasGasBones strap. I bought it with the Explorer II in mind. After all, the watch is called an Explorer isn't it?

20mm will work fine in the 21mm lugs. I have a 14060 and find that the 20mm lugs handle the 20mm nylon NATO without issue (obviously!), but I prefer the look of 18mm over the 20mm when it comes to leather.

Try globalwatchbands.com for some cool options.

20mm will look bad, I've tried it. Go with 22mm instead.
