1949 Rolex Bubbleback
I inherited my father's 1949 Rolex Bubbleback. I have the original box. I was wondering if anyone could tell me its approximate value?

The members here won't accept liability of a valuation that turns out to be incorrect, and frankly I think it's posted somewhere that they won't. My advice to you is to simply search for similar sold items on eBay and use that as your guide.
After that, you might take some more clearer pictures and request members here comment on apparent condition, which could be useful to you in your pricing. |

When you are comparing values, be aware that your dial is repainted, which does affect value.

Reference 3372. This will help you find similar items.
Dial as stated has been refinished...this hurts the value..by probably 1/3 to 1/2 on this watch's final value in most cases. Bezel has also seen some polish. The most sought after versions of this reference have never polished or almost never polished crisp bezel with all fine lines and outer wire edge intact. Box adds some value but not nearly as much as original paperwork would. |
