Ridley Watchmakers

Just received my treasured 1675 GMT Rootbeer back from repair by Phillip. This is my very first Rolex, so I would trust no one other than by him. Same excrescent quality of service and friendliness as ever.

Phillip is in the process of developing his own web site

Is "excrescent" a compliment?

Hopefully it's better than cromulent. The other term seems too close to excrement but I am quite sure thats probably not what was meant

Vintage (1981) Ladies Rolex Oyster Date

Happy to report a very satisfying experience having my treasured 14k/steel Rolex repaired and restored by Phillip Ridley at Watchmakers International. This watch has been a dependable friend for 35 years and it now looks and runs like it did when I first bought it. I had chosen Watchmakers International as a result of research in this forum and I am very pleased that I discovered this fine small company. They gave personal service with excellent communication. The cost was reasonable and the estimated time was good too, Actually the watch was ready about a week earlier than expected. I will definitely send it back to Phillip Ridley when it is time for another service.
