Genuine repair or scam?

Hello all,

A friend of mine had her ladies Oyster Perpetual went in for service and had the band, some movement parts, glass AND face replaced for 3k£ after being told a replacement piece was 9k£. The face is of another model and she told me it was repaired at a Rolex boutique. Still awaiting details.

This sound very dodgy to me.

Insights welcome, thank you.

M

If she had it done in a rolex boutique, i highly doubt it’s a scam.

Thanks to you both. I'm awaiting the receipt but she indeed insists it was Rolex, so I guess all good.

The best part is that she will have a brand new looking watch. A Rolex never goes out of style

. . .
There are dozens of dials available for the Ladies OP. Changing from one dial to another does not change the model number in most cases.
