5172 bundle?

You guys think it would be reasonable to ask for an Aquanaut (5164) bundle with a 5172? Or should I wait until it’s not new and actually being delivered?

I feel like I’ve cashed in all of my chips the past month but trying to figure out the next move.

So let me get this straight - you want to ask not for one but two watches you can in theory flip immediately for close to 100% profit? I don’t think any store will go for it.

Pretty sure the 5172 chrono won’t be going over retail... Maybe you’re confused with a 5712 Nautilus? I’m looking at the chronograph.

Although it’s quite different in terms of case design etc, going from the last PP manual chrono’s secondary market performance the 5172 definitely won’t be commanding a premium.

I will be surprised you can bundle the 5172...it’s too new. Most AD’s haven’t really gotten many of any. You could bundle. And other 50k patek dress watch tho

I also think you can take this period to wait for the cooling down of 5172. It will be hot initially, as all new releases usually are. Thereafter you can try asking for the bundle. Good luck!

If you waited till the fall to float the idea it just might happen - as mentioned already - with new releases coming soon. Personally I think it’s a reasonable approach now.
