I think you own a 5980/1R? The weight difference and distribution is so much better on the 5711/1R. It's crazy it's grown on me already.

No, I have a 5164a, 5711 white and 5712. Too much SS, need something in gold. Toying with a 5205R but not sure its for me.

I have a 5205G...Dont get it. If you were to get an AC, go for the 5905P. It's heavier and bigger.

Yeah, I just don't think I would ever wear it. Not sure when/if my AD will be able to come through with one, they have been good to me in a short period of time, so I cannot be greedy. I may need to try and fill the gold void with another brand for now, just not sure what that would be!

Hahaha! You’ve been following my journey for the past 6 months just waiting in agony. Finally Stern released it for me.

Where do I go from here? I need a 5990! Told the AD I don’t own a single steel. I’ve done the reverse relationship building way of acquiring the expensive goods before the cheaper ones.

Truly an amazing piece ! To think I almost turned it down when my faithful AD called me and offered it to me

I don’t remember seeing one in person, it is subtle elegance! My wife was wanting me to get an Audemars Rose Gold RO but now she says she likes the 5711R much better. She made me promise to let her wear it on her birthday. I think it might even be better than my 5990- ha! Enjoy that wonderful new watch- congratulations :-))

Ps She says this piece matches her Orange Flame Drophead ha!
