I looked at the list and can't find BKAO. I have the 116900 BKAO. ...now what the heck does it mean. ..? Newbie question. ..:)

OF means Oysterflex

AG (or Ag) is the symbol for Silver but not sure of the context in which you saw it used.

I see - in that case I believe the OP meant “All Gold”

There is little change he meant Ag (the symbol for silver) because they don’t make silver watches.

Letters following the ref number are descriptors to ID a watch from others of the same model.

In the case of the Air King here, the BKAO simply means Black/Arabic dial.

WATCHNERD: A watch nerd is a person who can identify with the definitions in this list. Watch nerds come in all shapes and sizes. They can be anywhere on the globe. Watch nerds consult their GMT to avoid waking you with a call at 3:42 am. Every watch nerd we know has a grail list, a watch account, and knows reference numbers by heart.
