Finally got a 1016!!!

Hello!

This is my first post on Rolex Forums and I would like to share my first foray into the minefield which is vintage Rolex. I'm more active on Omegaforums and I'm seeking the expert opinions here on the 1016 I recently purchased.

After watching many 1016s go by, I decided to pull the trigger on what I think is a pretty good looking example. Some questions I have are:

1. The lume does not glow at all, while my other vintage watches with tritium glow slightly when exposed to a strong light source.

2. Hands and dial look too perfect upon closer inspection.

All opinions and comments are welcome!

Here are the photos:

Thank you all for the kind comments!

Andrew18, I didn't realise the hands were too short. Completely missed that! Now I can't unsee that.

I missed out a movement shot as well! It's a non-hacking 1570 from the transitional late 60s, early 70s period I think.
