Just got the call that I was allocated a black 15500. Very amped but because of Corona I won’t be able to have AP resize the bracelet for me. Are there any guides I should read or tools I should purchase?

Did mine myself... got a kit from Amazon. It's better if you can find a wooden or plastic screwdriver (if you use metal be very very gentle or else you will make scratches if not careful). You can YouTube some videos of watch link removal... that's what I did and it turned out fine.

Congrats! Having the correct sized screwdriver is very helpful and AP Bands sells both 1.40 and 1.60mm screwdrivers so I'm sure someone with that model can tell you which one is best (although you could easily get both sizes from wherever since screwdrivers are pretty cheap). The other thing I've found with APs is that they often use some Loctite so you may need to head up the band with a hair dryer to remove the screws initially.

It would be better to have AD remove the links for you. Measure you wrist circumference and tell them, may be they can tell how many links they need to remove it for you.

I just bought AP 15500OR from AD. I have 6.4 " wrist, they removed 4 links and it fit perfectly for me.

If you do it yourself, you can find some help from the internet or this website, I think this kind of question used to be answered before.

I think when you remove the screw head out, you need to have small pin to push the bracelet long pin from the other end and the pin should come out on the same end of the head screw. This is just guessing from me, I have never done it before. I afraid of ruin the bracelet.

Get a good jeweler's/watchmaker's screwdriver set, use the correct size, and take your time. And depending on your eyesight, you may need a loupe. If you have the right tools, it's not that hard. I have added and removed links from my 15500ST a few times.
