Pam 911 owners....

Just wondering if my 911 is the only one with the quality control issue of not having the OP on the case back? I’m #323.

If directly from boutique to ur hand, I would not worry since it appears that u have a unicorn.

But since it’s not, it would bother me until I verify the authenticity.

From the pics u posted, it does look real, except for the missing dp

Also, not important, but that is not the strap that comes with the watch originally.

I will have to look at mine today. By the way the Pam911 is actually going trough the roof.
10.000 euros on the used market. I will never sell mine tough. It’s a keeper.

Look forward to hearing an explanation. Understanding how these are engraved, I can’t see that this one thing “just slipped through “ somehow.
Get it looked at by Panerai

If it is an original 911 and it would be a Rolex this would be worth a fortune.
How could this happen, i wonder...

So you called CS and they said they’d add the etching? So that means it’s authentic I guess

It’s totally plausible that during the cnc milling/ engraving of that ‘OP’ logo that the machine and/or operator glitched and missed that part. I sense some nice merch/freebies coming yr way if you were to mention it to Panerai HQ, failing that they’d prob take it back and engrave it again for you FOC.

I haven't seen a legitimate fake of the 8 Day movement, so if this has a true 8 Day reserve then it's not a Chinese knock off but rather a potential Unicorn

Too bad it isn't a Rolex, it would be quickly dubbed "error case back" and market would price it at 40k

Hahah. Definitely 8 day reserve movement. Runs great ; even without the OP. But about this free gear tho...
