Great watch. The glidelock bracelet looks right at home there. Enjoy!

You, Sir, are an inspiration. That is an awesome reference, and the fact that you got a whole 'set' of change-ups for it is a dream. That's like having a whole GMT collection in one piece. Good Form, Sir. Good Form.

I would guess the bracelet fits - but a bit loose.

Pretty clear in this image:

Hey Bjoern thanks for your observation I didn't even notice it. It is not loose at all and feels great on the wrist. I used the spring pins that came with the 78790 bracelet as the one's off the 97200 would not fit in the lug holes.

78790A bracelets are SEL (Solid End Links) so the end links are part of the bracelet. I used the spring bars that came with it.

16710 What A Watch

Love my D Serial as well. Would have been nice to have lug holes tho.

Originally a Coke per the US papers, but now a Pepsi. Had to remove a permanent link from the oyster for a perfect fit.

I have the Jubilee - old clasp style with 502T end links.

All I need is a black insert!

Enjoy it! The 16710 is my go-to watch, no doubt about it. I currently have it sporting its original "coke" bezel insert. Just excellent, all the way around.

Thanks guys for all the kind words ... The 97200 Glidelock fits really nice it really makes a difference weight wise and the ease of comfort if your wrist swells a little a quick adjustment and life is good.

The 16710 is my favorite Rolex for all of the reasons mentioned above. Between its versatility one functionality it is very hard to beat. I've been thinking about picking up another.

my first rolex and only watch! Just bought one a few days ago.

can I use this bracelet (97200) with my holes-case 16710? Mine has 4 holes, one on each lug for the spring bars so im guessing the springbars would be different

would I have to use my original bracelet's springbars, or from a super jubilee?
