I like diamond markers. The up charge for one is not bad considering the labor it takes for the gem setter to mount the diamonds. I read very labor intensive.

That is so nice.
The baguette diamonds look perfect for any sports model.

Wow that watch is a stunner! 10k upcharge? Is that because it’s baguette style and much larger diamonds then the dot markers? Not gonna lie on a flagship watch that’s the top of the line i would have added the diamonds too. Like having a million dollar car with hubcaps. Gotta have the nice rims too lol. Jk. Both look great but those baguettes just add that little extra class imo.

That's a stunner. Not a diamond guy but I'd make an exception for that. Beautiful.

Never regret getting diamonds on mine. It’s a loud watch and that’s what I wanted on my Rolex.

If available I'd chose diamonds every time except on most sport models. Although seriously, a baguette dialed 114060 would never leave my wrist, yeah cringe if you want, lol..

I'll do Batons just because I love simplicity.

Cheers

Jason, that Rolex is the cat's Meow! just Superb...

I like the dial with more Ice Blue, which is why is was leaning toward the DD Baton, or Platona Diamond

Rolex with diamonds for sure. If you can afford it and like it I say go for it. I did on my blue dial datejust 41.

Depends on the watch. Works particularly well on some DDs.

Bezels yes i think markers are more low key and really open up and balance the dial.

That being said when paying 10k for a watch get what you want. So if it’s diamonds get it. Just wondering why most on TRF don’t prefer diamond dials and they are super soft on the second hand market.
I wouldn't get a diamond dial even if it was cheaper than the batons. Batons have lume, you can read the dial in the dark. To each his own

A sports watch and lume I get it. But a watch like the DJ and DD tend to be on the dressy side a little more so I don’t know many other dress style watches that use lume.

diamonds on a men's watch...for me it's kinda Liberace. Just feels like flamboyant ostentation. Just not for me.

But then, there was a time I thought the entire brand was for people who wanted to impress strangers, so wtf do I know?

I don't like diamonds on me. My wife has some diamond containing watches. They look great on her.

Don’t like losing the lume with the diamonds.

The new DJ41 with diamonds, from the looks in pictures, has no lume at all.

I would do diamond markers on the WG DD40 w/ black dial. Looks amazing but still surprisingly under-the-radar.

Now those diamond batons could easily conceal a tritium tube underneath... I bet the lensing effect would be very cool in the dark.

Love Rolex Original set Diamonds on the dial, not on bezel or case, definitely not aftermarket or "Custom". Just my op.

This Jason. This would be the one I’d get too. I like the blue rings better than the brown. And the diamonds are subtle but nice. I only have one with diamonds. Same thing. Subtle but nice.

I don't like diamond indices on a watch that I'd wear. I don't think my wife would even enjoy wearing something that blingy & certainly not a diamond bezel. That's too much IMO.
