Anyone deal with watch-experts on ebay?

Looking to buy a 14060 from watch-experts from eBay. Has anyone dealt with them before? Looks like he has plenty of positive reviews for selling watches on eBay, but I am not sure if i feel entirely comfortable purchasing a watch that will be shipped from Brazil.

Here is the listing:

Interestingly, it's a "one owner watch" that was apparently purchased in Italy (Roma) and now offered for sale by a Brazilian dealer. Let's suppose an Italian tourist travelled to Brazil and decided to trade in his submariner, why would he be travelling with the box and papers? It's odd. I'd make sure the serial number on the papers match the serial number on the watch.

Keep in mind that you are paying a premium for a watch that has box and papers, which is fine, but personally I'd want papers from the country I live in.

Also, funny how the watches the seller sold were all described as "rare."

"rare 2 liner dial" he writes. Well, before 2007 all 14060m subs were 2-liners for all I know.

Further comments, one link is missing on the bracelet / one of the screw pins will need some loctite and possibly be replaced by the look of the head / ask to see the engraving on the inside of the clasp and get a close look at the bracelet (Italians are known for their quality after market bracelets according to a jeweler I've been speaking with).

Pay by pal-pal using AMX so you are doubly protected.Wouldn’t scare me a bit. Seller has positive ratings, has been on EBay for a period of time and provides protection for you by pay pal. :-)

I'm no watch expert, but the top lumed dot (white) isn't centered in the triangle on the bezel area and it just looks like poor craftsmanship. That same dot also looks cracked; however, hard to tell without having a closer look. I'd honestly say no-go for me, but that's just my honest opinion!

Cheers,
Leah

Meaningless. Seller can put what he likes. Buyer can return it for a number of reasons including "changed his mind"

Not sure how it works with watches, but ebay backed me 100% on an item that I sold with a no return policy, when buyer attempted a return.

But if a Brazilian tourist went to Italy and purchase a watch, it would make a lot of sense for him to return home with the box/papers

Not always
Entering a country you MUST pay import tax.
So many wear the watch and hide warranty card
The leave the box behind!

If you go 20 47th st, you can buy ANY Rolex multiple times over. Brand New, papers (from asia) NO box!

Sure. My point was that a Brazilian tourist returning home with a new watch, including box and papers, then selling it 14 years later with their Brazil-based eBay account, is a far more logical explanation than an Italian traveling to Brazil with a watch, box and papers, setting up an eBay account while visiting Brazil and selling the watch that way.
