Robbed in London - you lied...it’s not safe!!

So I went to my winder this morning to get put on my weekend watch - Sea dweller 4000 and it was robbed out of my hands...

... by my wife who declared that she would like to try this for the day as we were going to the park.

I struggled with my attacker but was subdued as she was willing to resort to violence and I couldn’t bring myself to do so.

So I am now forced to wear my Daytona as a weekend watch - still not sure that this goes with tracksuit and trainers but needs must...

Here is a pic of my assailant with her haul!

That’s what I said - she has her PP but think she is feeling it is too dressy for our casual weekends.

Glad to read that you made it out alive. When these things happen, just let go. They’re only possessions, and wives can do you irreparable harm in ways you’ve never imagined were possible....

Have to agree and IMHO a over dramatic thread title.

You know its over when she sizes your Rolex...recuperation is improbable and, unlike a usual theft, you get to see your lost piece daily, usually from seductive angles

Some times you just have to Suck it up Butter Cup. Life is just that way. At least you had a brief moment to enjoy the "Weekender" ! When Tax time came this year with a 10k return I was dreaming of a Daytona. In my wildest dreams I could never imagine that at the very Last moment when I had the Check in hand, I would change my mind and Buy a PHAFF Sewing machine instead. I am still in Mid Suck it up. I am getting used to being Happy with MY choice !

Honestly thought something horrible had happened to you! Glad you are both safe! Have fun at the park and yes, that SD4000 may be your wife's new favorite from this day forward!

That looks good on her. I would love it if my wife wore my watches, but she wants her own (ladies DJ) before I can buy another.

divorce her, i say! But then again you will need to split the watch collection anyway so maybe not? For the sake of the collection!
