Incoming - I have problems - help!

Just as I was wrapping up my deal for my U serial 16710 another one fell into my lap. This one I actually owned about a year ago. I sold it to a friend and he called me asking if I wanted it back. Not sure why I said yes... but I couldn’t help myself. It was born a coke so I’ll throw the coke insert that I have for it back on. So now what do I do?

Keep both? No holes, and holes. Swiss and Swiss Made. Coke and Pepsi. Jubilee and oyster? Two super duper complete sets.

Is there room in a collection for 2 16710’s? Or is that silly? If I keep one, which one??

I have problems...

Absolutely room for both. I have a ‘97 holy T25 and wouldn’t hesitate to own a SEL/LE given the chance. You can’t lose if you change your mind and sell later so it’s a no-brainier.

I would keep them both. You can always move one later. I don't think they will go down in value! Nice problem to have.

Sounds like the general consensus is to keep. That’s why I love my TRF family!

The one with holes wears lighter due to, uh, the holes. I'd definitely keep them both!

Both. I had the same situation. So I bought a jubilee and changed the A serial ( holes case) to a Coke and added the jubilee to my D serial Pepsi. ( no holes case )

Clearly,
And we all know, lighter == better performance.

If you need to walk somewhere faster, you wear the hole case one, if you're not in a hurry, the no hole case one. If you're driving, the caramic one.

It's good to have options :D

I’d definitely keep them both. Just swap one out with the Coke bezel and you’re good to go.

Congratulations again Josh.

Well I had six 16710s at one time... So I'd say yes it's good to have multiple and you're in good company. Great references.

Not much to tell really. One of my favorite if not favorite 5 digit reference from Rolex. So I "sort of" lost control and picked up a lot of good examples as I found them. I sold 2 here on the forums and another to a friend.....now left with 3 that I'm intent on keeping (for now). My vintage friends always give me crap about this because they want me to move them on for other 4 digits hah.

Really great watches though, I'd keep them both since they look like good sets.

When you are ready to let go of any of those 3 you have left let me know.
