For me it would be a tough call between the Hesalite moon watch and the slightly smaller FOIS. I also like the Broad Arrow Speedmaster.

It would be nice if it had a screw down crown for at least 50m

It already has for 50m without it. What they need is a screw crown with at least 100m.

I also read that they may introduce it with a ceramic bezel. To be honest I’m not too fussed about that.

Thats good to know, at least you won't have to worry about getting it wet, i thought it was 10.

Well, sort of. Have you actually worked on the current bracelet? It uses tiny screw "caps" that secure a sliding pin in each link. The pin is not the friction-fit sort any longer, so it's easier to remove/replace the pin itself, but the tiny screw caps securing the pin can be a challenge.

Smallest screws/caps I’ve ever seen..... you hit the nail on the head

Those screw caps are practically invisible they are so small. I don't know how anyone can work with them without a big magnifying glass. My AD did it with just readers last week and I was shocked.

I will most likely go for a hesalite like the one in your pictures. I'll head over to an omega boutique and report back!

This, and you're done. And once you upgrade the clasp to the adjustable one i think from the Seamaster you'll never look back. It guarantees a perfect fit!

I opted for the sapphire sandwich for the upgraded movement, the display back, and the increased durability of the sapphire crystal. I probably wouldn't buy a Speedmaster if it didn't have this option.

Not a good quality photo but the angle shows the sapphire's ring at the
edge of the crystal. I don't mind it but some aren't keen. It is nice to see the movement.DSC_0026(7).png

I went for the saphire sandwich as well. I like the increased scratch resistance and the display caseback. A manual wind chronograph movement is something to behold! It shouldnt be hidden with a metal caseback

I'm looking on the seconardary market and preowned. Noticed that they depreciate a little bit..

I was exactly like you. Then I got bit by the bug. These are extremely cool watches, at a reasonable price point, with a great plexi crystal. Manual wind. Stopwatch. The whole thing is just so darn cool. Do it do it

That just looks so cool with the leather. I typically wear my black leather Occasionally throw in a tan leather. The whole thing is just so cool it’s not even funny

Hi gents, thank you everyone for your engagement on this thread. It is unfortunate that due to the pandemic, I may need to ease off on this watch as I need to ensure the well being of my employees.... :( of when I get it, I will send my wrist shot!!
