Salmon Dials Patek Thread

Post your salmon dial Pateks here!

Separately, can you guys explain in detail what it is specifically you love about salmon dials vs. more traditional blue/black/white dials? What is it that makes the salmon dial so special?

Salmon is absolute vintage. I think its gonna hold the value, since it is very rare and unique piece.

For me, I dont really like it. Definitely targeted for Patek Collector.

I thought I would love the 5270P, fortunately had the chance to try one before mine arrived as the colour simply didn't suit me. Still like the idea of a salmon dial.

Will the new owner of the 6300a post his salmon?

I believe Patek intentionally designates salmon as the colour for the pinnacle of a line. That aside, watches do look good in salmon (to me). I hope to add a Patek salmon one day and post here. Hopefully a 5327P as I'm priced out of the 5270P.

Doing my best!

One of the best “casual strap” watches around. Wear it with a suit or jeans, it fits right in.

Amazing how different lighting will make the personality of the watch change so much. That's a beauty.

I agree with you.

My favourite was the 5207P which I had the opportunity of trying on while visiting the Geneva Salon.
