Does it hurt the self winding Patek watch to manual wind it daily?

I know we can put the self winding watch to a winding box. I just want to know is it harmful to the self winding Patek watch to wind it daily.

Thanks.

It depends how do you wind it, overwinding is definitely harmful. But its designed to be worn so as long as you do it correctly you shouldn't have any issues a side from normal wear and tare to the movement.

^^^ this.

Personally, just wear it and with normal activity for the average person you're fine, so no need to hand-wind it. Wear it daily and enjoy your time
