I retired 9-1 at age 68. I am still getting used to it. I DID buy myself a DD41 MOP diamond dial, fluted on jubilee for the occasion.

That is a key question. The first time I got bored. I will need to find a hobby and or a foundation or worthy cause to donate my time to. A purpose and meaning full interaction with others is a must for me. In time I am confident the right things will present themselves. It will be my responsibility to recognize them and make good decisions.

Yes it did but me and many co-workers were/are disappointed with management and a negative culture. At some point one must realize life is too short to accept things you do not have to. I feel for those who must stay and endure…

Congratulations. I retired at 49 and have been out a little over 4 years. I have thought about doing something but the best part of retirement for me is that my time is my own. If you can ever get to that point it is difficult to go back. Enjoy.
