Don't feel I need any justification to keep enjoying pasta but if there's some there, all the better.

Thank the Italians! Now maybe doctors will prescribe a big bowl of spaghetti bolognese with a nice Cabernet instead of bypass surgery.

Will my health insurance cover this?

Carbs and protein both have 4 calories per gram.

Pasta is a part of my healthy diet, with which I lost some 75-80lbs and maintains my weight at about 185 on average for any given week.

Pasta has been a mainstay of my diet for the better part of 40 years, even the unhealthy one that put on all that weight sfter I retired.

It definitely wasn't the pasta that made me fat, because I've eaten plenty of the stuff through those years, whether I was skinny or fat.

If it's heart-healthy, all the better.

Was gonna enjoy pasta regardless but this eases the guilt a bit, not going to lie.

Better for YOU. Pasta slaps weight on me faster than ice cream. I'll stick with my low carb diet and clean cardio angiograms.
