We filmed for 5 days and i think they got every cut of us mentioning the urinal. We hardly mentioned it but with editing they can make something a storyline

I just watched the episode this morning.
You have a lovely family!

I think you made an excellent decision.
My 3 kids are in the pool 24/7 during our 6 month season
It's my favorite part of our home

Enjoy the new house

Watched the episode this morning during breakfast. Wonderful family and gorgeous house. One can really get a lot of house for the money in the Atlanta area. Congratulations on your new home.

Just watched the show and completely agree with your choice! Looks like a wonderful house that you can put your own stamp on over time. On a side note, adopting kids is the most wonderful thing a person can do. Kudos to you and your beautiful family.

Thank you all for watching and for the kind comments!
It was a lot of fun to film and then watch with our friends. With “reality” TV they can edit it in so many ways and make you look like an idiot if they want. Fortunately they didn’t... although apparently I’m obsessed with urinals and biscuits.

If you missed it it is now on YouTube for your commercial-free enjoyment

Awesome! What’s funny is we filmed for 5 days and I only mentioned the urinal a handful of times. Several times it was only because the producer specifically asked me what I thought about it. Apparently ALL of those mentions made the show.

I did have a urinal in my old house and it was awesome but it was hardly something we were looking for in a new house.

PS: all houses should have a urinal

It’s nuts really. Honestly I’m so spoiled I don’t think I could move. It’s not like we’re in the hood either. It’s really a great area.
