Everyone has a favorite spot in their home. Can be a chair, the kitchen, the pool or any other part. I love the TV room with my CD collection but my favorite spot is a balcony. I love the open view and it's wonderful to wake up, grab a cup of coffee and stare at it. How about you? What's your favorite spot in your house?

That sounds nice. In my current home it’s a big chesterfield chair next to the fireplace.

Our living room in winter, Aga on and nice and toasty. Tot of malt by my side, hounds at my feet.

Garden in the summer, sitting there on an evening, drink in had watching out for bats.

The balcony I talked about is this one buddy. Very humble in comparison no question but it's just for the wife and I and we love it. You and your family are welcome too and would be an honor for me.

Since moving here I find it hard to decide...Just kidding...I couldn't afford that in 10 lifetimes.

Actually back to reality, I have a bunch of places depending on the time of day and the time of year. Cozy fireplace area in winter, afternoon naps in the hammock outside by the koi pond, the office looking at porn (WHAT!!) and watching TV with the Mrs in the TV area.

A few years ago we bought a condo in Naples Florida. We now spend most of the winter there and have a small but very comfortable lanai overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. My favorite spot is a reclining rocker chair enjoying our view.

Hard to beat pushing the loveseat and ottoman in front of the TV, and cozying up to watch a movie with the sweetheart.

Though making dinner together is right up there.
