Chrono Minute Register Creeping Early Normal?

When I run the chrono on my new Speedy, the minute subdial creeps (not jumps or ticks over immediately at the 1min mark) to the 1 minute marker when the chrono seconds hand is at or stopped between 59 and 59.5 seconds, not at the 60 second mark when I would expect it to complete it's advance.

The effect being, that if I am timing something with the chrono that takes Xmin and 59.5 seconds, the chrono timer will read X+1min and 59.5 seconds.

Seems like a pretty glaring accuracy problem to me - has anyone else seen this?

One other small issue is that the hours subdial seems to sit just to the right of the 12 hour marker. I've read this could be common as well.

Is this poor quality for a watch at this price point?

Are you certain? Perhaps a video is required...or a rapid burst of images (like the iPhone can do) covering this time...

I don't have a video but here is a picture showing the minute sub-dial fully advanced, right at (or just slightly after) 59 seconds. The minute register started moving at 58sec, and took the full second to move over to the 1min mark
