#6538 James Bond Submariner?..Or Not!
The auction certainly has the date wrong, missing case pics displaying #'s, & blurry caseback.
Tho I know some 6538 models had the gilt color along with white color lines, Something does not smell right? http://cgi.ebay.com/Submariner-6538-...d=p3286.c0.m14 Steve? Orchi? Springer? LoLx? Gents?..... |

Err buddies...even when Orchi can afford it...Orchi would have to pay upto 3 times
more in price for a genuine 6538 Big Crown Sub with 4 lines...at least. Orchi never buys from anyone who can't even hold the camera steady when they take pictures of the watch... The different sets of pics presented there are ambiguous... which may be a product of photoshop or something like that... This here...one can see...the Seller forgot to PASTE the crown next to the INCORRECT case which is described to be having serial nos. of 3.8 million series(1973)...!? To begin with...Ref: 6538 were only made between 1955 to 1959 period...ONLY...!!! Please get the listing...torched ASAP...!!! |
