Icon1 Forum Clock - Different Times, Different PC's?

Just wondering, how accurate is the clock on the forum? I mean, do DL speeds, connection types, etc. influence the time on the clock?

Never quite understood how time is "governed" so to speak. How is the time on the atomic clock determined? I mean, what happens if it is incorrect? How do they set it?

Kinda like calibrating scales. If you use a 50 lb. weight to calibrate a scale, what if the scale that originally calibrated the weight was off? It is a never ending cycle.

Anyway, back to the question at hand because I'm wanting to check how "off" my new watch is.

The forums clock gets its time from YOUR computer... so each computer you view the forum from could potentially have a different time...

It's not like this site is time related...It's about watches!
