Entirely new forum section for assessing fakes?

Yesterday there was a thread about a supposedly fake Rolex.
The member won the Ebay auction but will probably not buy it after getting sound advise from TRF members.

If possible and desirable by members, why not create an entire section for it?

This, so that people with the 'real knowledge' about Rolex or any other brand could easily find the threads without having to browse entire sections.
There are enough examples out there, personal or very close by of this happening, maybe there is a need for it, I do not know.
The only danger would be real ones being called fakes, therefor it should have some moderator 'protection'?
What you guys think?

Where in Belgium are you based? Got back from a four day trip to Antwerp a couple of weeks back...........we stayed right in the diamond district. Lovely country. De Konink beer rocks!!!!

My home town is up north next to the Dutch border adjacent to Eindhoven an hours travel from Antwerp, very small. But for the time being I'm staying in Argentina.
Diamond district used to be completely 'controlled' by jews, nowadays Indian people have taken over their business. Very nice city Antwerp especially in summer.
When ever you go back to Belgium you could also try Palm, convent beers, Chimet, over 500 different kinds if I remember correctly.
Not into beers myself, rather a whiskey cola or a gin tonic but belgian beers seem to be the best there are.

The devils' advocate in me will say that the counterfeiters will come here to learn what we look for and fix those errors on their fakes.

I voted for no, just because I think we can do it pretty easily from the general topics forum. I don't think we run into so many requests to identify fakes that the topic would require its own section. It's a good idea, though!

Well, it surprises me that manufacturers of fakes make mistakes! Ok, certain things are very hard to reproduce but a simple placement of a number that is off by several mm or a number that cannot exist, a print on the dial that is not correct etc etc, what are they stupid?

I hate fakes, can't say I'd want to spend all day looking at possible fakes

No one can authenticate a watch over the internet anyway.
