Ladies and DJ41

My wife took a liking to a diamond dial dj41, (she’s yet to try on)

any ladies or guys with wives here wear a dj41?

Currently she has Yachtmaster 37 Everose (oysterflex) & a 34mm Date.

Curious if the Dj41 will be too
much?

Thoughts?

My fiancé has pretty small wrists and she rocks a TT mother of pearl diamond dial very nicely! It is large but in my opinion it works... no different than how some guys can rock very large watches above 46mm and so!

But it entirely different though.

A man with a watch too big for him looks comical.

A woman who wears the same watch, with even thinner wrists, and it looks fine.

This is because women get away with it as they wear the watch like a bangle - oversized and loose.

I once had a DJ41 Chocolate dial rose gold/SS. After 2 yrs. I sold it because I felt like I was wearing my Dad’s watch. Had the colors been different, or if I opted for the jubilee/fluted model vs. oyster/fluted, I may have felt differently. YMMV. Happy shopping - good luck! :)

I wear mostly 40mm watches. I just prefer a larger watch. I have a 36mm DD and am trading in for the 40mm this week. As long as her wrists are super small I think she'll love it.

Made it back to the AD, Verdict was a No Go as far as Dj41

But we did like the larger Yachtmaster 40!

So I have always been on the side of 36 or 41 for all women, BUT today I picked up a new watch for myself and my wife was there. She has small wrists, hands. The 36 looked huge on her. The 41 was so big, but it would be a statement/fashion watch. The 31 fit well, but we will pass on all of them unless they came out with the 34 with more options, and the clasp is too big.

Yeah agree with you on the YM40.

The different case shapes don't really come across in pictures, gotta try them on.

41 are excessive.
For women I prefer smaller watches.

Agree that petite woman are better able than petite men to gracefully pull off wearing larger watches.

For me, ladies are best at 34 and below. Apart from maybe a feminine Daytona. Unless they’ve got wrists like an mid-western arm wrestler.

My wife liked my new DJ41 so much, we got her one too. She has an AP ladies TT Royal Oak and a Rolex TT ladies DJ. Mostly wears the DJ41. It has blue dial, smooth bezel with a jubilee bracelet. The AD had to remove 5 links to fit her wrist. BTW, one of her friends got one too.
