Incoming! Finally got my hands on this baby

Finally managed to pick up the Tudor black bay Harrods edition today.

I was top of the list twice previous, however due to work commitments I was unable to pick it up in person.

This time the stars aligned and I was able to pick it up in person today. Have to say the buying experience maybe wasn’t as good as I expected, however the sales assistants did me a favour and held the watch a few extra days until I was able to travel to London, so can’t complain too much.

Great looking watch in person, really happy with the purchase, and had a few drinks at the roof top bar at Harvey nics to celebrate haha

If anyone is interested in numbers mine is in between 4200-4300, (there were two other people picking up the watch as the same time as me, and another enquiring about the waiting list, which with SA replied it’s years and thousands are on it....)

I love it, would love to own it since brand new .. I would 100% buy it right away if I had the opportunity to get it from AD... I’m curious though, what was less than wonderful about the buying experience if you don’t mind my asking !!

It was basically over the counter whilst I was standing, other buyers were the same, nothing like when I bought my blnr or my wife’s Rolex.

But time to make memories with the watch now!!

Welcome to the gang, mine has been on my wrist daily and never ever leaves me. It's used and abused (as you can tell) such a beautiful piece honestly. Congrats and welcome to the gang!

Thanks man, haven’t stopped looking at it since I got it, but didn’t want to make it too obvious when I was going around London with the Harrods bag haha

I really like the color scheme on this one, has that vintage LV vibe. Big congrats.

Looks like you've developed some nice patina on this one already. Looks even better beat up & faded

Congrats OP, definitely a future classic!

I don’t think you’ll have to wait that long, I only re-enquired around a month ago because I knew I’d be in London this weekend, 2weeks later I was offered one, however I’m not sure If previously being on the waiting list helped.
