Cannot believe my luck

Hi Guys!

This past Tuesday, I got a call from an AD, telling me that they have a Hulk!!!! in store and were offering me the chance to pick it up. For context purposes, I had purchased my BLNR from this AD in June 2017, just before the supply shortage started to grip the market. I have spoken to multiple AD's since October 2017 when I started getting the itch to get the Hulk. Everywhere I went, especially AD's who are also Jewelers, I kept hearing the same line as we have client XYZ who have spent hundred's of thousands of dollars and they all have the first refusal. Moving on, at the beginning of 2018 my job was outsourced to India & Argentina, and I have not been able to find a job ever since as I was an international student, and given the current climate, it is near impossible.

I had discussed this watch with my wife, who has always been supportive of my passions, no matter how ludicrous they are. So begrudgingly I called to notify her about it and the first response from her was we're taking it. Since we recently relocated, we drove out of state and managed to pick up the watch that day.

I am still having a hard time fathoming how lucky I am, not only for the watch, but for the woman I am with.

I agree you’re lucky to have a wife that understands and supports your passion for watches but not sure you’re lucky to have waited 2 years for the hulk!!

Congratulations! First, for having such wonderful wife. Second, for getting the Hulk.
When I got the call I called my wife and her response was...... go get it!
