Congrats in advance Roger - it's been a very busy few weeks of incomings for you!
I also think it could be a 5131? I recall that it was on your wish list. Looking forward to the pics. |

Perpetual calendar? Split-second chronogra? Minute repeater? I'm leaning towards the first one but I've been surprised by your incomings before...

Straight perpetual is a good guess, although you might argue I have that one covered via 5270 and 5970P. If the 5140P was 40mm or larger, then I would be a buyer!
I will give you a clue - it is limited edition! |

Well I won't string it out, tempting though it is!
It look me some time to track down a sealed one, but I enjoyed cutting it; I realise the design will probably polarise opinions but I love it. Difficult to photograph it well, and it takes about 5 minutes to wind up the full 10 days, but i am really pleased! |

Thanks John, your photo skills are much better than mine. Did find a Platinum one, but it was silly money compared to the G model.

Ok! Now I'm paying attention! At first I thought you were just picking up pieces just because, this acquisition solidifies that you are a true collector! All I can say is Wear that beauty in good health! This one is out of my reach so I settled for the Rolex 5442 Simply amazing!
