How about this shot? It’s amazing how the colors change depending on the lighting.

Congratulations. It’s an amazing watch. I recently added this exact model to my collection. Steel dial with black ceramic bezel on Oysterflex is just perfect.

Congrats! How long did you wait for this baby? My AD close to where I live said they could order one for me (with a 50% fully refundable deposit), but couldn't give me any time frame. 2 weeks or 6 months and one person ahead of me. Not sure I want to park $15k for an extended period of time.

This pm may still be waiting for an owner at the AD called Kerns in Burlingame, Ca. Contact Eric. It was on display. I got the call for the root beer from him and promptly scooped it up.

I just stumbled upon it. They are still around in stores. I just got a call from a local AD saying they received one.

So beautiful. This and the white gold Daytona are my favourite Daytona's - I dont get the SS hype compared to these beautiful watches. For the money on the grey market - I would prefer these to those.

Congrats!! I was in the same place as you ... considering a SS Daytona at 20K+ when I thought I might as well look at the gold Daytonas at these price points.

Fell in love with the 116519LN, pulled the trigger, and couldn't be happier.

For a very brief moment, I was very tempted to pick up a SS DaytonaC at 24K. In a way, I am thankful for the shortage of SS Daytonas. The grey prices gave me the nudge to look into PM.

The day has come, I finally picked up the White Gold Daytona on Oysterflex (116519LN)! With the shortage of SS Daytona Ceramic watches, I became intrigued by the PM Daytonas. With the insane after market pricing of the SS Ceramic Daytona, the PM Daytona seemed like an excellent value. I’ve been back and forth for months thinking about going for the PM Daytona versus paying inflated pricing for the SS DaytonaC.

I wasn’t sure how I would feel about rocking the Oysterflex on my wrist, but I love it so much! It’s light, flexible, and comfortable. I don’t need to worry about scratching up the PCLs of the bracelet. The wings on the underside of the strap keep the watch centered. I also love how low-key the white gold and rubber strap combo are together. This is a watch that doesn’t scream “look at me!” The white gold seems to change color in different lighting - from bright stainless steel in appearance to almost a subtle warm yellow gold tone. I briefly entertained the idea of the rose gold piece but decided white gold was the best fit for me.

Thank you to all the forum members that chimed in and answered all my questions about the Daytona on Oysterflex. I loved looking at all the gorgeous photos shared. You guys really know how to enable someone on the fence to go through with their decision!

I also wanted to take a moment to thank my wonderful wife for being on board with this purchase. She’s felt comfortable with me buying different watches in the past, but nothing at this price point. I was even considering selling my SubC Date but my wife commented about how much she knows I love my Submariner as it is my first Rolex. She encouraged me to keep the Sub and buy the Daytona.

Same story here. Congrats

Great watch, and second in my collection only to my Nautilus. It’s utterly brilliant.
