Thanks everybody. I was concerned that it would be overhyped and that I’d be disappointed. But I’ll have to admit, the watch is definitely worth the wait.
I’ll be at the track this weekend to shake down the car and test out the new lsd and axles. Since I’ll probably be wrenching on the car a bit, this weekend will be the point where the watch will not longer be “mint” condition. I’ll try to get some pictures if I can remember. I’ve never been one to photograph watches but I can’t help it with this one! |

Congrats and that is a cool story. I'm hoping to eventually get one from my AD as well. I think they know me well enough by now I want it to use it and it will be a perminant fixture in my collection. They asked if I would be interested in the black dial if it came in and I told them my heart is set on the white dial and I rather someone else get the black dial who really wanted it. I'm hoping sometime within the next year but who knows.
