That's pretty rad! What was the house like & were you inspired to write? Did you feel unsafe there at all? Did you drive any of the vintage American cars that are (apparently) left & right in Cuba?

I felt 99% safe (highest I can get).

I was inspired to drink...

The house and the country are in danger of collapsing at any moment.

Can't speak for anyone else but Cuba is hands down the safest place I've traveled too.

That's, like, in direct contradiction of what the State Department has to say. Not that I believe everything from the federal government, but what made you feel so safe? There are neighborhoods in Brooklyn (where I was raised) that I wouldn't venture into, let alone a communist dictatorship.

.When it becomes illegal for US citizens to visit there, are you willing to break the law and risk the consequences? Or do you have family there?

Yeah, I wear my 30K YG Sub there and carry 10K USD cash in my pocket every time I travel there. I also bring back at least 4 suitcases full of Cuban cigars.

I would love to go to Cuba.

Do you recommend staying in an Airbnb or the government run hotels?

Havana is very safe, they need our cash so bad tourists are untouchable... any BS and they would lock you up and throw away the key. They are very compliant as required by law.

Cuba is a very safe country. 99% of Cubans (in Cuba) don’t even know what a Rolex is.

Those vintage cars are a rolling business on wheels. They're worth more than several houses put together. It's amazing how they've kept them up without a legitimate supply store for parts.

That is a naïve statement. I'll bet you 99% of Cubans DO KNOW what a Rolex is. Especially a Sub.

Great pictures. Can confirm that Havanna is extremely safe. Police on every corner (not that it's needed)..had great meals, great drinks, and great conversations

Tourism is everything to cubans and to that dictatorship, any cuban messes with that and the government throws them in a box and throws away the key. You can walk down any street in cuba with a PM piece and no one will ever rob you.
