*** The Official FP Journe Appreciation & Pics Thread ***

I checked and couldn't find a thread dedicated to FP Journe watches. I recently picked up the CB and couldn't be happier with it. I know there are many other owners out there that want to celebrate their FPJs! So what better way than a thread dedicated to pics of these gorgeous watches? :)

Here are some of my pics to start this off.

Looking forward to seeing pics of the many amazing watches created by FPJ!

Ah! I searched for a thread that had the word "official" in it as I've noticed is the norm on TRF. Apologies.

Thanks for the alert, Hollister.

Tell me about it! I find myself taking the watch off sometimes just to admire the movement. The finishing and the depth of the movement are amazing!

Why did you move it? Curious as to your feedback as an owner

Blue is always one of my favorite dial colors in the dress watch arena.

Absolutely love the movement and the tantalum case, but I haven't been wearing it at all this year. I guess I'm more of a sports watch guy. The dial is nice and vibrant at times, but other times it's more a flat blue. In a sense the novelty of the blue dial wore off after the first few months.

Don't get me wrong it's an amazing watch just not for me. It's a sporty dress watch, but I think I need something more of a dressy sports watch. Which is exactly what I am replacing it with. 15202st incoming in a few days

That can't have been an easy decision. I actually want to pick up a 15202 next. I feel both watches can live side by side quite nicely.

Mine went in June after 4 months (probably the only watch I ever made money on) as whilst I thought the movement was great, the dial was sublime the colour of the hands and the numerals just wore me down a bit. The hands over time starting looking a bit like plastic and at that price point I thought applied numerals versus printed would have been a nice touch. The dial is so beautiful that perhaps a different colour for the hands or numerals rather than cream - I know that silver would make it impossible to read and its probably the best colour for readibility but its such a special watch I just wanted to adore and love it versus "like". I then saw the CS in RG and knew that was the one...once I had the CS the CB saw little wrist time and it went to someone who absolutely adored the watch but just couldnt find one. So I am happy about that...the CB did however bring me firmly into the FPJ fold and I have to say that the Quantième Perpétuel is a front runner with PP (ahead of ALS) for my choice of PC....and I leave lots of drool marks over it....please dont hang me!!! Just a personal view of a great watch!!!

Imagine how boring the world would be if we all had the same taste. Now imagine how frustrating the world would be if we didn't have choice.

Your finding FPJ's watches ugly doesn't really matter, my friend. They're not for everybody.
