Regular people comment on my Wadsworth which always seems to remind them of one their mom/grandmother/favorite aunt had. Watch sales people like the midsize DJ.

This is the Wadsworth. I got it NOS in the box.

Some compliments on my SD... people think it's cool that I'm wearing a men's watch.

But mostly, my Breitling Starliner.

Jeannie, I envy you the box and stuff you have with your Wadsworth.

If you ever run into another Wadsworth box or other memorabilia, please keep me in mind. This poor orphan has to live in the case with all those.......... other....... watches.

I have never received compliments about my Rolex watches except one time when my friends asked me why I was wearing a mid-sized watch (Air-King).

Anyway, I think it would be pretty interesting to hear your experiences regarding this matter.

lorsban
I also received more compliments (especially from non-wis) for my Oris than my Rolex.

Similar stories to this thread, no one bats an eye at the Submariner. However, I've received comments on my Omega De Villes.

The most comments/compliments though? Easily my Swatch Sistem51 in white.

Breitling Chronomat 44 B01. It's fully polished, which gives the impression that it's a super luxurious item to the non-wis

It was an interesting thread. I think threads like these are more interesting than most threads you see here.

There's got to be more people reading this thread and having input, right? No Movados? Casio G-Shocks? An Audemars Piguet decked out with diamonds all over?

To be fair, that is the trend nowadays so it's not surprising people would comment the Apple Watch. They're good looking watches.

The AP Diver has gotten the most, the Breitling Crosswind also got a lot of compliments when I used to wear it more...Rolex-wise, GMT and Daytona are the winners.

Omega 60th Anniversary Railmaster. And most comments I have ever had on any watch. Suits me fine, as this is my favorite watch. I had waited years, hoping that Omega would introduce/reissue this exact watch. And I could not believe it when they did. The most popular comment I get is "Is that a new watch?". That, to me, is the ultimate compliment anyone could pay to this watch, and it absolutely delights me!

Happy Fathers Day to all you Dads out there!

That's a lovely watch. I thought hard about this same model, too, but I decided to keep my Seamaster 300 (non-60th Anniversary model). Wear yours in good health.

I have four “nice” watches, Rolex Exp. II and DSSD, a Panerai 312, and a Bell & Ross 03-92. The BR is by far the cheapest, but it’s also gotten the most compliments by far. I think it’s because of the square case.
