2010 Melbourne Pen Show

I'm not sure how many Melbournians (or even Australians) we have in this sub-forum, but the 2010 Melbourne Pen Show is this Sunday.

www.melbpenshow.com.au for details. I'll be there as a member of the Melbourne Pen Club, displaying a selection of my pens. EIther this:

...or this...

I'll attend but probably won't show my pens. Mine's just a bit here and there only.

Showing off your collection is just for those who are there specifically to do so. You'll also get the chance to buy pens (which are for sale, not those in collections!), so be sure to bring some cash if you intend to buy some pens.

Oh no a green straited 149 I presume, you can tell me all about it on Sunday at the Pen GTG.

All you guys from the USA, you had better jump on a plane now to make it on time this Sunday morning here in sunny Melbourne

Idk, those a380s scare me. I would love to make it to Australia someday, I'll definitely be looking for fellow TRFers...

Bic biro's are awesome, I've got 5 on my desk and 100's scattered around the warehouse.

I took several. They'll take a while to upload...

Pen City, with David sitting behind the table...

Melbourne pen-repairman Peter Ford and his swathe of pens...

Bernie Sweet's sweet stuff...

Inkwells galore!

The Melbourne Pen Club's table:

^ ^ ^ My display! ^ ^ ^

Peter Ford's Lucky Dip:

Pam's Pencils:

And last but not least...my three purchases:

Sterling silver button-filler.

Conklin crescent-filler.

1900 Waterman w/original box & papers.

Congrats on the new pens Shahan!

Thanks for the pics!

Looks like that was quite the event. Those inkwells are really interesting.

Very cool, thanks for sharing and congrats on the new pieces!
Lots of neat looking pens there...would've been fun to see in person.

Hmmmmm...never been to Australia, perhaps I'll have to add it to the 'must visit' list.

Thanks - I was there and my camera had no battery.
Anyway, good to meet with a number of pen friends to put a face behind the avatar.
I didn't buy much, just a couple bottles of inks and a ink stain remover.
