GMT Hour hand
I have a Batman that I purchased brand new. It's been worn probably 20 times. For some reason the hour hand is no longer keeping time. Meaning, I can set it but when the watch is keeping time the minute hand works but the hour hand does not move. Just checking if I may be doing something or if I should take it to a RSC? Thanks!

Yes definitely, I assume it's still under guarantee so I would have taken it in straight away

Take it to the RSC just to be on the safe side. It's the only way to be 100% sure.

I dropped it off on Saturday (and the watch is being shipped to Rolex) and after doing some more research found out that this is a known issue. My watch is out of warranty so I'm not sure if they will cover it but hopefully since it seems they have covered others out of warranty. I was told we will hear from Rolex on whether they will cover it or not in about 3 weeks. If they say no I guess I will try to find someone at Rolex that I can contact and try to work it.

Known issue? I hope they cover it since it's a known issue. As a fellow BLNR owner, I'd be interested in knowing what the issue is -- hopefully mine doesn't run into it.

Look up the 3186 movement flaw, there are some threads about this issue. It seems to be only for early models as Rolex corrected the problem later in production. I hope they cover it as well, I'll definitely update as soon as I know anything.
