SD43 shoulderless spring bar size

Hi,
Thinking of putting shoulderless bars on my sea dweller 50th Anniversary when I wear with a NATO knowing I would cut the bars when I want to take them off. Can someone advise on the size I will need and possible source for good sturdy ones? Thank you,

Seems like a great idea -- next best thing to fixed lugs.

I don't know the answer, but measuring the diameter of the original spring bar tip with calipers should yield the info needed to select from a supplier like Otto Frei.
