is this a factory serti?

Don't know much about Serti dials as this is my first one. but im thinking its aftermarket. The gold around the sapphires doesnt look that crisp as it should to me.

its a 16803

is this a factory serti?

Mine for reference... The surrounds on yours looks a little bigger?

Hopefully an expert will chime in.

Yeah, I don't know, I am no expert, but the gold surrounding the diamonds and the sapphires does look a little off.

I hope some experts chime in to help you out

The Rolex crown is touching the 12 o’Clock sapphire. I don’t think it’s right.
Also the date number looks very skinny.

The spacing between the 1000ft, the =, and 300m looks too far apart. I'm no expert, but I would say it's aftermarket.

OP, did you buy this watch? Or, are you considering it? Has the whole watch been authenticated? Also looks like the cyclops is not completely aligned with the date window.

No way to know unless you pull the dial and look on the back side of dial.

You don’t need to take it apart.

The dial is a refinished custom job which means it is a fake Serti. The underlying dial plate may have come from a Rolex but I doubt it.

I would pass on that one unless you can have it checked by A RSC inside and out.

Bezel and dial are suspect to begin with.

Horrible fake, just look at the bezel it looks like a 4 yr old painted it. Dial is trash city, bracelet is made of recycled aluminum cans and the winding crown looks like I made it in my basement with melted rolo wrappers. Mid level canal st fake 80-150$.

Op is a sweat shop owner that throws these fakes up for pros to pick apart so he can remake the next batch of fakes better... look into his thread history and the “ how do these look” threads are all fugazzzi.

Hmm. He does post a lot of fakes for confirmation. If he's not a counterfeiter, he's looking for love in all the wrong places.

Obviously refinished fake. OP is always looking for feedback on fakes. “I’m just a babe in the woods. Is it real??” I’m not buying your act.

The 11 & 1 hour markers are different thicknesses'

The surround to the diamonds (if they are actually diamonds!) are all over the place.

If that's original Rolex, must have been a 16:45 Friday afternooner'.....lol

I would walk....very quickly!

Aftermarket dial and bezel insert. The watch appears to be genuine.

Unless one has x-ray vision that works on photographs - it is impossible to know what movement is inside.

So when the dial looks sketchy, one must “judge a book by its cover” - and stay away.

The dial and bezel insert are clearly junk, yes.
However the rest looks fine (despite the amateur-hour refinish/polish work).

The case looks OK, just improperly polished/refinished/contoured.
The bracelet looks OK, but improperly refinished/polished (looks like someone went crazy with the Cape Cod cloth).
Bezel itself looks OK, just heavily worn and/or carelessly polished.
The winding crown looks OK, just heavily worn and/or carelessly polished.

So yeah, hard pass for me, but the watch is not anything close to a "mid level canal st fake".

I very much doubt that.

I would take Eric's opinion over just about anyone else's in the Watchout section.

It has the 3035 movement. Not fake, just sloppy aftermarket parts looks like.

And my question was about the serti dial being factory or after market not if watch was replica. Never had a serti before so I didn’t know. Here’s the movement

@degeneratehambker

Stop lying bro... every post you’ve put on the forum has been a fake watch.
