It's all good friend. You find me a good deal on a 5164R and you can adorn me in all the diamonds you'd like.

My girlfriend also dislikes the overly encrusted diamond pieces. The two you've set your sights on are perfect.
The 5205r shouldn't be a chore to get, I've seen them in a few AD's in the states. I think you could try that on before taking the plunge. I might also bring up the World Time collection. It's really under appreciated IMO and would look at home on any gender. Enjoy the hunt. |

I think Piaget and Girard-Perregaux do better for women. But that's not the question.

Yes, let's rein this back in, the standard of this forum is that it is a family forum and I think the PP forum is getting a little too broad, and we are all guilty of it.

If I was a woman I would collect the following:
1) Patek 3970 probably in J or Patek 5004J - At 36mm fantastic watch 2) Rolex Daytona Ceramic White - They don't call it the girlfriend watch for no reason 3) Check out FP Journe, they make around 39mm slim timepieces too, chronometre Bleau would be amazing or any of the Rose gold cases too. 4) If you must go aquanaut, I would look for the older aquanauts -I've seen quite a few ladies wear the 36mm well. 5167r wears much better/slimmer for a smaller wrist than the chunk of a 5164R. ****SPECIAL MENTION**** Pick up the blue Hermes Slim limited edition 100 piece blue from Hodinkee - will fit lady's wrist really well AND all 100 pieces were made from a single alligator skin. Walk into the Hermes boutique with pride knowing you have something THEY themselves couldn't get. I would not go with either option you cited. 5164R would look ridiculous unless you are more husky. If you are over 5"6 or overweight I think it would be ok. There is a "baglady" on instagram I follow "AYTY Style" check her out. She wears a lot of men's watches. Some are a bit too big. Others like the 5004 are droolworthy :) https://www.instagram.com/aytystyle/ Quote:

This just doesn't look right... everything well thought and matching and then you take a look at the wrist and the pizza makes your eyes tear.
