Incoming PAM 212

Just got this beauty yesterday and had to sit stewing all day at the office before I could come home and open the package. I was worrying myself silly all afternoon thinking of all the possible things that could be wrong with it!

Well I needn’t have worried as I fell in love the moment I laid eyes on it. It’s an M serial but looks like it just left the factory and came with the full set. The rubber strap doesn’t even look like it has ever been used but I’m going to keep it on the black leather for now as I think it makes the watch look extremely classy.

The ETA movement looks absolutely gorgeous IMO and way more interesting than the P5000 in my 564. So far the minute hand is dead on since winding it yesterday.

I traded my Omega SMP blue on rubber which I got at the start of the year and despite it being a great watch in many ways I never fully bonded with it. Very pleased I made this trade.

And now for a couple of pics. I struggled to capture how beautiful this watch is IRL but perhaps this can be blamed on my poor photography skills.

Cheers guys. This watch is simply perfect in its simplicity. There’s nothing i don’t like about it but I guess there’s not much to it so hard to find faults lol

Not a 212. A 212 is a chronograph!

Incoming PAM 212

I’ve had my 112 for 11 years, wearing it now. My one and only PAM. There’s a lot going on with this simple watch. The Lume sandwich dial, open case back, swan’s neck regulator, non-reflective coating with its cool blue reflection, that open and Zen dial, waterproof, hand wound, legibility, and of course endless strap combos. Makes for a great bedside clock as well! Enjoy yours.

The most puzzling pam for me ever: why the captions on the dial are not symmetrical? I guess the bottom one is at the same position as for 111 to counter balance the 2 lines on the top. But here, with just one line remaining on the top... Really scratches my eyes.
