Yes, I've been wearing my Datejust II 116300 for 8 years straight, everyday, until I finally got a black sub date recently. Now I alternate between my Datejust II and Sub.

I don't think many people notice that I'm wearing a Rolex but I don't really care if people think I'm showing off or not, I just really love and enjoy them.

Would love to find out

I’m probably not making it back into the office for another 6 months. Wore IWC and Omega plenty, but it’s really a lousy watch environment (one nice 16710 and a bunch of Apple watches) so not sure if the Rolex will draw too much attention. Not that I care what people think, I just hate talking about watches with people who think they are stupid to begin with.

wore my sub date every day for 35 years now have these 2 in the rotation, lots of attention in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, but most people now are wearing smart watches, so only comments from real watch people, which is fine with me, I use to always hear "somebody is going to cut your hand off for that watch" I wonder what they would say now as my 2 newest watches cost over 10 X what my Sub date cost?

If your so worried that your Boss would be offended, then buy him a Rolex, like a Daytona and all will be Well....

I wear mine all the time (sleep, shower, work, play, swim, etc.) so it won't slow down--but it has finally been slowing down due to my torpor.

i'll admit, most trades could definitely get away with wearing a watch.
but not us sheet metal workers

that being said, i hope to soon be able to start wearing a watch to work when i start doing inspecting

For the first 6 years of my Rolex life, I wore it everyday. Then when me wife gave me an Omega Sea Master Pro for Christmas, I started alternating it. then came the Longines Evidenza chrono and the rotation continued....

Everyone spoils themselves in some way and you shouldn't be ashamed of how you spend your money. I wear a Rolex to work every day. Now I am the boss but I would not be offended if an employee was wearing one. It shows good taste, class and is a safe investment as you can always get your money back.

Not really. My watches draw a lot of stares and attention. Not good in my line of work.

Absolutely. In clinic it peaks out under my white coat, but in the OR with scrubs it is noticeable. However my colleagues are also watch fans, with one of them being a WIS so it doesn’t draw any crazy attention.

Yes, now that it's been serviced after 25 years. What's the point in not wearing it? My watch is so old nobody even recognizes it as a Rolex. A gold plated Invicta would look more expensive to the vast majority of people IMHO. I switch it out with my old Seiko diver. Love that watch too.

I wear any watch in my collection to work. That’s everything from my cheapest Casio to Rolex, AP and PP.

Today was the turn of my Rolex Explorer II
