This is clearly a strap monster, and looks fantastic on the bracelet. I usually wear leather in winter, and either nato or bracelet in summer.

By the way, I believe the lume shouldn't even be called faux-patina in my mind, not to mention I have been told that the lume on the original Ed White wasn't pristine white when leaving the manufacture back in the days.

The faux patina thing always seemed kind of dumb to me. Whenever something isn’t white as snow and is slightly off white, everyone screams FAUX PATINA!!! and say it’s ruining the watch. Markers can be other colors besides snow white.

I see there is one for sale on Chrono24 in London already, with an asking price of about £15,500.
If Omega is interested, it shouldn’t be hard to find out who the original owner was. |

As RJB stated at Fratello, only about 1,000 of the 321 movements will be produced per year (normal year) by Omega. That 1,000 is then further broken out between the stainless steel “Ed White” and the PM version using the Cal. 321.
While not a limited edition, this watch, especially in stainless steel, will be an extremely limited production piece. Think about that ... Omega producing less than 1,000 of the “Ed Whites” per year. Global. Nuts. |

Well, my AD said they could produce the watch in 4 weeks ... I’m very skeptical of this time frame based on this thread.
I’d love to see more wrist shots from owners at a distance with some brief description about how it wears compared to the 1861 or better yet a Rolex GMT2. It looks like a beautiful watch. The lugs don’t bother me, but in a few of the pictures, they appear to be straight in that they don’t curve with the wrist a whole lot ... Can any luck owners comment? |

The lugs are longer than usual, but do curve towards the wrist. I have skinny 6.5" wrists and it fits nicely.

Here are a couple of pictures I lifted from the Omega Forum. I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this. If so mods please delete.
Credit given to user name "cvalue13" gave some very thoughtful insight into how it wears...20210205_110857.jpg20210205_110939.jpg Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk |

I’ve had plenty of straight lugged speedies and they do wear longer than their specs. It’s the one concern I have in picking one up as the EW is longer lug to lug than the FOIS for example. Not by much, but a mm can make a big diff with as you say the angling of the lugs etc. That said my wrists are more round than flat and therefore I’m sensitive to L2L differences. Good you have a chance to try before you buy. We can’t do that here unfortunately..... |

I’m with you, lug length and shape (bending downward toward the wrist) are pretty important to me. As is the caseback. It could be the most beautiful watch, but if I can’t wear it |

Looks great. I’m looking forward to be able to try out at some point. I have the Apollo 11 and that’s hugely shiny too. It’s one of the things I like about it. I assume it’s the bracelet that gives it a bit of pop

the WAIT is over!
I think I placed my order in or around January of 2020 direct at my local Omega Boutique... I got the call and I must say the 321 is spectacular. I love the proportions, the weight on the wrist, the legibility is really really good, and the biggest surprise to me is how wonderful the bracelet is..it is comfortable and has just the right taper.
I love looping the 321 movement, it is nicely finished and just brings me back to my earliest of watch collecting days with all things Speedmaster! but the thing is...the dial is the BEST part...the perfect design for a chrono, the sunken subs, the seconds to see the heartbeat and the sweeping main timing hand all float in all the right ways, the bezel is updated but super classic...and I would feel bad leaving out the pushers..no guard! and that classic clicky feel..perfection! the watch is super fun! |
